Hi
i have a problem when i use dx render .
system vista 32
driver updated
lap top asus g50v
gfx : 9800m gs
==================
also in open GL if i select the shadow type StencilAdditive all screen goes black .

hmmm ........
you know i was so close to buy this engine but since no one want to help or suggest a solution then i guess im off to a more frindly engine

I looked at your log file, cant see any problems with engine :S have you updated graphics card drivers? also i have the same problem with stencil additive shadows, im sure people would have posted if they could see the problem from your log. i was waiting to see betauser's (engine developer) reply to this post but i guess he is very busy at the moment. Also, welcome to the neoaxis community! I have to say - the community is very helpful when they are able to provide a solution.
also, is this a clean install of the engine?

this is a clean install and i should mention that i wasn't having this problem with .83 and yes i used the latest drivers from nvedia website .
ps : sorry about my last post i was a bit angry ...

Most people here tend to be quite silent until they have something very clever to say
...so I should have kept silent.
I did look at your log file too, but can't say any bells rang. Is the problem only related to NA - meaning you can run all your favorite games? Have you tried different settings in the configurator, starting with minimum, fullscreen/window mode etc.? Try to delete/move (takes a long time to recompile) the shader cache files. See folder Game\Bin\Data\Caches\ShaderCache

i have no problems on any of my games including crysis and bf bad company 2 . i will try playing with the sitting more like you suggested and will delete the shader cache too , hope this will solve it .

just idea:
Maybe you have enabled Direct3D debug mode?
Can be enabled in DirectX SDK (if installed of course).

your right , it was on debug mode , now its ok
but still the StencilAdditive problem present ....

Huh. ok
The stencil shadows is not supported in some cases. As example the heightmapterrain is not support it.

Yes if your card does not support stencil shadows nothing will happen, this is an older shadow rendering method and might just not exist with the newer GPU that you are using.

BTW, welcome to the community... In the future whining and threatening to leave won't make results happen any faster, people will help you but that gets old very fast.

so even if there is a shadow in StencilModulative mode ?
and anout the debug mode on dx , im an artist and i only used it with t3d pro , to compile it with some other addone , so excuse my ignorance .
will im buying it anyway but i just wanted to see how the community going to respond
tell now all is frindly and helpfull.

When asking help on forums be prepared to give it at least a day to get an answer.
So it is always better (faster) to try to find the answer yourself.
Also, many people might read the question and be willing to help,
but if they don't know the answer for certain, they might wait and see if anybody else does, instead of taking wild guesses.
So if certain thing comes to a dead end and you need to ask help from here,
go on and focus on other areas of development meanwhile.

Man you can't ask for help in hours... it may come or not.
Also, on weekends I see the forum a bit less active than in other days.
