I tried the demo and got killed, was the wooden maul supposed to be a
weapon? I grabbed it but couldn't find it in my inventory to equip it, all I
had were fists. Nice job on the graphics! If the game would restart after
I die that would help. Also 'load game'.

Yes, the maul is a weapon, I also had a spell that was ineffective.

How did you get the footsteps to make different sounds depending on the ground?

That would work for a heightmap terrain, but what if you were in a dungeon, is there a way to change the foot sound depending on material/texture flag? Theif was like that.

There you go, that is MUCH MUCH better man. Stay away from the black, the pale moonlight is much better mood setter than a Daredevil FPS.
